Forward trip authorisation to a different Authoriser

If required, you can forward on your trip to another Authoriser, other than your assigned Authoriser. 

This may be the case if your assigned/preferred Authoriser is away unexpectedly and their role has not been delegated. If your Authoriser needs to delegate their role to a fellow Authoriser please refer to this tutorial.

This can only be done when the quote has not expired. If the quote has expired or is past the trip date, then a new quote will need to be submitted.

NOTE: There are a couple of scenarios that will change how you can forward authorise.

 

1) When a trip request is in the Pending Authorisation state

a) From the Dashboard, locate the trip request that requires a change of Authoriser

b) At the bottom of the Trip Details page click Forward Authorisation

c) Complete the details inside the Forward Authorisation pop-up window that appears

d) Once all the details have been filled out, click Submit

NOTE: An email will be sent to your new Authoriser notifying them of the authorisation request.

The process is logged within the Messages section of Trip Details for future reference.

 

2) When a trip request is in the Quote Issued state

a) From the Dashboard, locate the trip request that requires a change of Authoriser

b) At the bottom of the Quotes page click the Forward Authorisation button 

c) Complete the details inside the Forward Authorisation pop-up window that appears

d) Click Submit

NOTE: An email will be sent to your new Authoriser notifying them of the authorisation request.

The process is logged within the Messages section of Trip Details for future reference.
