Blank page after selecting flights in the Locomote booking module

Scenario: A client clicks the Continue button after selecting flights in the Locomote booking module and gets a blank page.

Possible cause: the client has run so many searches in Locomote that their cookies have filled up.

Possible solution: this can be fixed by clearing the cache and cookies of the client's browser.


How to clear cache and cookies of the internet browser

Google Chrome

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. On your browser toolbar, click more and then More Tools and then Clear Browsing Data.
3. In the "Clear browsing data" box, click the checkboxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
4. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Choose beginning of time to delete everything.
5. Click Clear browsing data.
6. Exit/Quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.


Mozilla Firefox

1. From the History menu, select Clear Recent History.(If the menu bar is hidden, press Alt to make it visible).
2. From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select Everything.
3.Next to "Details", click the down arrow to choose which elements of the history to clear; to clear your entire cache, select all items.
4. Click Clear Now.
5. Exit/Quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.


Microsoft Edge

1. Open Microsoft Edge Browser and click on the Hub icon (three horizontal lines at top bar) and then click History Icon.
2. Now click “Clear all history“.
3. Now select “Cookies and saved website data” and “Cached data and files” and click Clear.
4. Exit/Quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.


Internet Explorer 11

1. Select Tools (via the Gear Icon) > Safety > Delete browsing history.
2. Make sure to uncheck Preserve Favorites website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies then click Delete
3. You will get a confirmation at the bottom of the window once it has successfully cleared your cache and cookies.
4. Exit/Quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
